Thank you for considering one of my birds! Please read the buyer/seller agreement below before taking one of my birds home. If you have questions about anything, please ask me! I want to ensure that each and every bird that leaves me has the best possible start in their new home.
As the seller, I agree that the birds offered for sale on this page are 100% healthy and this includes that the parents of any chicks, rescue birds, or new additions to my flock have been vetted as needed and have been checked for common illnesses that affect cockatiels including but not limited to: PBFD, polyomavirus, and psittacosis. Please note that as the buyer if you notice any odd behavior or possible illness in your new bird, let me know immediately. Please note that any injury or illness your bird may suffer after the first 2 weeks in its new home is the new owner's responsibility. Any illness or injury caused to your bird while in your care that is not related to a congenital defect is the responsibility of the new owner. Birds should always be quarantined and kept away from other animals for a period of at least 30 days to prevent the spread of illness from existing birds to your new bird.
Any birds marked as “DNA sexed” have been DNA sexed by blood through https://iqbirdtesting.com/ and have a 99.9% accuracy of sex. Although it has not happened yet, there is a very small chance that the test could be wrong, so please keep that in mind. Birds listed as being "Sex Linked" are sexed based on genetics- this includes but is not limited to cinnamon, lutino, and pearl cockatiels. If you want a sex-linked bird DNA sexed before pick up, I will gladly do so for an additional fee. Please keep in mind that DNA sexing can take up to 2 weeks. Adult birds offered here will be provided with full disclosure of known health/breeding/behavioral issues- I will NEVER knowingly offer a bird to someone if that bird has problems without first discussing it with the purchaser.
I will take back any bird I have sold at the purchaser's expense. No refunds will be issued.
As the purchaser, it is the expectation that you have done research on the species of bird that you want to buy and that you will provide that animal with a balanced and nutritious diet, fresh and clean water, and a safe enclosure/cage/environment for it to live and grow. The purchaser has full breeding rights unless it is otherwise stated for an individual animal, and it is expected that the purchaser takes full responsibility for breeding and the resulting offspring if that is their wish. Should the purchaser change their mind after taking possession of their bird and no longer want it, they may return it to me at their expense- no refund will be given.
No-shows will not be tolerated. I do Not ship or deliver birds. I reserve the right to refuse to sell you a bird if I feel that you cannot care for it.
*Effective starting October 2021*: If you want to reserve a bird that is not ready to go home yet, You must submit a Non-refundable fee that will become part of the purchase price of your bird. Payment can be sent via paypal or zelle. For holding a cockatiel, the deposit is $50.
If you purchase an un-weaned bird from me, I do not offer any kind of guarantee on it. You must know how to hand feed and have your own supplies. I feed Kaytee Handfeeding formula, which can be purchased at most pet stores and on Amazon.
I feed the following foods to my birds:
*Higgins 466125 Safflower Gold Natural Food for Conure/Cockatiel
*Millet Spray
*Mazure Small Bird pellet diet
*Mixture of Fresh veggies, leafy greens, sprouted seeds, scrambled chicken eggs, and fruits-these vary depending on what is fresh
And last but not least, You will get back from your bird what You put into it. If you expect a super-friendly pet but never hold or interact with it, it will not be a good pet. If you play with and handle your baby and put in the work and love they deserve, you will have a great companion animal.

Domestic pet rats: I do, on occasion, have rats available. I have dumbos and top ear, rex and standard fur. Colors can be almost anything- I have Siamese, tabby (also called marble), silver mane, solid colors, wedge faced and more. Rats are $15 for 1 or a same sex pair for $20. Check out my facebook page to see more photos!
Degus: These super social rodents are a weird mix between a gerbil, a guinea pig, and a chinchilla! They have special care needs, so please be sure to research them before getting them! At the moment I am sold out of Degus. Prices for a same sex pair start at $50 and go up. I will only sell singles to someone who has a colony of degus already.
Cute domestic mice are $5 each. Please reach out to me to see what I currently have available.
